West End Craft Fair

GreenNest will be at the West End Community Centre Christmas Craft Fair in Vancouver this Sunday (21 Nov) from 10am-4pm.  Knitting needles are flying and preparations are underway...Hope to see you there!

Craft Fair Photos

Here are some pictures of GreenNest stuff at the Santa Presents 2010 Craft Fair on Nov. 6 & 7 in Penticton, BC.  It was a full family effort to get everything ready the night before the show!  We had scarves & hats made with my hand-dyed wool, as well as baby slippers made from recycled sweaters.  There were also skeins of my brown hand-dyed wool made from local BC alpacas - the alpacas are named Mojo & Jimmy :), other brightly coloured wool, and birds nest cookies too!  It was great to reconnect with some old friends and meet some other craft-y people.  Thanks everyone for your support and see you at my next show!

New Hand-dyed Yarns!

Here are some of my latest hand-dyed yarns.  A couple of days ago, it was a beautiful, sunny autumn day and I got down to business with 6 new skeins of yarn.  The process is labour-intensive but I'm really liking the textures and bright vibrant colours.
